Colleen S. was converted
to Del Forte Denim because
of the fit, but the high-end denim line's use of organic
cotton made the jeans an easy wear.
Your green butt never looked
so good.
"Every girl knows that good jeans are all in the fit. I do
not care what label is on the backside--if they don't fit,
they don't get worn. So even though Del Forte Denim
jeans are made from organic cotton, it is really the fit
that keeps me coming back. I have three pairs, and I
pretty much live in them. I love the fact I can get sexy
soft jeans that reflect my lifestyle. Take note fellow
eco-fashionistas :)"

meant limited options. The rising popularity of green
fabric and textile alternatives allow designers to
combine sustainability and style with ease. Here are
the latest headlines.
A Greener Footprint--From
trendy tennis shoes to
Carrie Bradshaw-worthy heels, green shoe designers
are stepping out with earth-friendly footwear.
Sustainable
Skivvies--Companies like

(and organic) underthings.
Beyond Beige--Eco-Friendly fabrics are

Summer
Rayne Oakes is a designer, model, media
host, and speaker. She heads up a consulting
company,
SRO, and speaks to groups of all ages
about sustainable fashion. Summer shares with
us a review of one of her favorite eco-friendly items,
Palma Collection's tagua
nut necklaces.
In Summer Rayne's words:
"Lightweight and bohemian - the intense color palette
of Palma Collection's tagua
nut necklaces make
them a good conversation piece. Many artisans take
the "vegetable ivory" and do scrimshaw, intarsia, inlay
and carving only after the fruits have dropped to the
ground and the nuts are allowed to dry. Palma's
necklaces are French-dyed in a number of vivid colors.
The collection is completely on par with my sense of
style: artisanal, vibrantly exotic and steeped with a raw
edge. The pieces can complement an already colorful
wardrobe or play up a neutral color palette, giving your
grey slacks and shirt an extra Oomph. Check
out the
different styles and the many ways I've worn my Palma
at
Palmacollection.com."
