This edition is all about beverages. Jeremiah K. stays
hydrated with his Klean
Kanteen, and Haru K. treats
herself to Izze's all
natural soda. There's a lot more to
drink in around SustainLane
as we roll out big new
features: pictures and private
messaging! Plus, take our short survey for
another chance at snagging a SustainLane t-shirt.
Also, write a

There's no better beverage than water. When Jeremiah K.
upgraded from a Nalgene water bottle to
a Klean
Kanteen to avoid toxins leached by plastic, the
change tasted great.
Way Better than
Yo' Average Nalgene
"I recently purchased a stainless steel Klean
Kanteen H2O bottle at the '06 Health and
Harmony Festival. I have had many Nalgene water bottles in
my days, but moving away from them to the steel
Kanteen was the best move I ever made. I have
always had my doubts about the health factor of
drinking out of plastic that is years old. The steel
alleviates any concern I might have, plus the water
tastes better. You might never know that lexan
gives water a "plasticky" taste, but as soon as you
switch over the difference is totally noticeable. The
only problem I have had . . . click here to

More great water-related reviews:
Paul J. is a big fan of
the compostable corn bottles used by Biota
bottled water.
Toshio M. and Ed. G. use Sigg aluminum
water bottles as an alternative to plastic water bottles
and both remark on Sigg's sleek
design.
*** Win a Klean
Kanteen. Write a review
of a sustainable beverage by this Friday. I'll announce the
winner in next week's newsletter. Look forward to
more newsletter contests each week.
