healthy gluten free breakfast in less than two minutes
with
Ancient Harvest Quinoa Flakes.
In 90-
Seconds
"I needed a nutritious breakfast alternative that was
gluten-free, so my kids suggested I try quinoa (keen-
wa). Ancient Harvest makes an easy-to-cook, organic,
hot cereal flake product that you can fix on the stove
top or microwave, lickity-split.
Loaded with protein, minerals, calcium and iron,
quinoa is a good source for essential nutrients. Easily
digestible, parent's can whip this cereal up for their
babies and school kids, too. It takes 90 seconds . . .

| Halloween Survey Results |
 |
|
We hope that everyone had a happy Halloween
yesterday! Here are the results of last week's survey.
47% of survey takers planned on passing out treats
on Halloween. One user planned to give out fancy
pencils to trick or treaters. Other creative alternatives
to candy included: bouncy balls, coupons, little bottles
of bubbles, and one user was planning on re-gifting
little toys collected from conventions.
32% of survey takers made homemade costumes to
save money, and 18% chose to use homemade
costumes to protect themselves and their children
from exposure to PVC, lead, and other dangerous
chemicals.
The most popular Halloween movie survey takers
were planning on watching was The Nightmare
Before Christmas.
Also, Hilary B. from
Chicago snagged a SustainLane
t-shirt for taking our survey. Stay tuned for
more fun surveys from SustainLane.

Deanne S. uses
Bob's
Red Mill Almond Flour to make delicious gluten-
free baked goods.
Almond
Flour is a Great Substitute for Wheat
"For those of you who are gluten sensitive or know
someone who is, almond flour is a great alternative
you can use to make cookies, muffins, pancakes,
cakes, pie crusts, pizza crust and so much more.
Gluten, which is a protein found in wheat, rye, and
barley is a hard protein for most people to digest.
