Cris B. is planning
on cooking up an organic
and free-range turkey from Diestel
Family Turkey Ranch for this
year's Thanksgiving dinner.
Talkin'
Turkey
"Diestel Family Turkey Ranch, located in Sonora
California, ships their turkeys all over the country to
retail grocers. They sustainably farm, raise and feed
their broad-breasted turkeys on the open range with a
vegetarian diet free of hormones or growth stimulants.
The grains and soybeans are milled on site. One
brand they market is Heidi's Hens turkeys, which are
Oregon Tilth certified and weigh between six and thirty
pounds. Use their store locator to . . . click

Did you know?? Around 45 million turkeys
were
consumed near Thanksgiving by Americans in 2003.
