In the 1940's, "Victory Gardens" were planted in communities across America to help reduce pressure on the food supply and boost morale during tough times. Today, there's a resurgence of this movement as more and more people grow their own food to eat fresher, healthier, less expensive produce. In fact, planting your own garden is one of the best ways to eat nutritious food and save money at the same time. How's that for a morale boost?
