Description: American cuisine prepared with locally raised, hormone-free meats and organic produce.
There's a lot written about the bene's of a low fat diet, but actually, it depends on the type and quality of the fat that you eat. We've all heard fish oil has beneficial omega 3 oil, and that beef has bad saturated fats. But actually, if the meat has been pasture raised and grass fed, then the meat has the same high quality fats as many cold water fish and flax oil. The problem occurs when we factory farm meat, and feed these poor animals un-natural diets of corn, soy (GMO), and other fillers, steroids, and antibiotics. Factory farmed meat is definitely bad news, and heart-clogging stuff. Try an Acme Chop House sustainably raised, grass fed steak with some organic veggies...it's a great restuarant that is working hard to offer the public safe food that is also delicious! And if you are out somewhere else, and want to order a steak, ask your waiter if the meat is grass fed, sustainably raised, and contains no hormones, steriods, or antibiotics..if enough people ask, they will listen.
