Avalon Skin Care - About the Environment
A kind and lightly fragrant choice for my underarms. I really like the Avalon Organic Deodorant with essential oils and lavender. It's more liquid than other products I've used. It's free of propylene glycol, and paraben or other toxic chemicals.
My friend Anne Marie uses Avalon products at her bed & breakfast, I've used the lavender lotion she has at the sink in washroom. Her place is very elegant. Avalon's packaging of their products is so attractive they can be left out for guests to enjoy. A recycle icon is embossed on the bottom of the container.
I am very impressed with their commitment to the environmental, and sustainability. Their office and warehouse in Petaluma are 100% solar powered. They are big on waste reduction, recycling, and print on recycle papers. In 2007, Avalon has made great strides in reducing their ecological footprint. They are community minded, and support environmental, cultural and social needs, including cancer research.
