If you're searching for truly organic silk, cotton and hemp yarns and fabrics, look no further than Aurora Silk.
Fabrics include a variety of hemps and cottons, all of them either organic or transitional, most of them from India. The silks range from lustrous to shiny, some of them woven on foot-powered, hand operated looms. I particularly appreciate the "Peace" silks, which allow the worms to complete their natural life cycle and emerge from their cocoons.
Yarns are tussah silk and hemp, some dyed, some not. If you feel like making your own, you can buy cocoons, in fact, you can even buy silkworms!
