Grow your own
While these eggs are better, fresher, possibly using more humane farming methods and organic vegetarian feed... you can get better. Grow your own. Before the turn of the 20th century most homes had egg laying and sometimes meat producing chickens in their backyards.
I have half a dozen girls in the backyard. They have their own coop, and run and they get plenty of room to roam and eat bugs, grass etc. As a result I get fresh eggs that are unparalleled in their taste and richness. Look at a home grown egg and notice the Orange yolk vs the pale yellow tasteless yolk from factory produced eggs. Each chicken has a name, and they are happy, stress free girls, and their beaks are intact.
Also, you get free chicken poop to fertilize your lawn and home grown veggies. My chicken poop fertilized heirloom tomatoes are incredible. There is no comparison to home grown tomatoes vs store bought.
