Bamboo and cotton sheets
Description: Bamboo fibers combine with cotton for sheets.
Organic cotton goes mainstream
I ordered a set of towels and sheets recently, and ultimately decided to return them due to the following...each towel was packaged separately in plastic, and cardboard, then also tagged at the corners. The kind of tags used on clothing for price tags. These little plastic tags ruined the towels, causing the threads/loops to come unraveled. I was as careful as I could be, while cutting the tags off and yet discovered further defects in these towels. A stain on one corner of the binding was the last straw. I realized that even if I exchanged these for another batch, they'd be packaged the same way and likely have the same defects. I was concerned about the overall quality of the towels and didn't bother opening the sheets. The color was also not as expected but I was prepared to keep them, until I realized that West Elm needs better quality control, inspection and packaging. How disappointing! I will have to find them elsewhere.
