Comments on Abendigo's review of Basic Bamboo Tee
bamboo is the new soft, ooh-yeah
This is like the softest t-shirt I've ever worn. It comes from a company called HTNaturals. It's 70 percent bamboo and 30 percent cotton. Do you have any idea how soft and voluptuous bamboo clothing is? Oh my god! Anyway, I got this t-shirt at some event, little did I know that it was bamboo until I felt it. T-shirt companies should offer bamboo more often as an alternative, not only because it grows like crazy and hence is more sustainable, but also because it's so comfy. This company is also interested in doing the right thing. I guess they have a factory in China but make sure that it's not sweat labor and they travel there regularly to check on things. Too bad it's not organic -- that would be the only thing missing from heaven, bamboo heaven.

Have you washed your t-shirt more than a few times? All my bamboo t's fall apart in a short period of time!

Hi Stephanie,
I have two bamboo shirts, and they are indestructible. I've wash these shirts about 20 times and toss them in the dryer when I don't have time to line-dry them, and they don't shrink or bleed. I got them at Hemptown....you inspired me to write a review on them, which I just did, so you can search on Hemptown to find it, but I highly recommend the store and their products...I have no affiliation with them, just a happy customer :-)

Thank you James :)
I was really wanting some positive feedback to help me find a company that produces excellent natural clothing. Thank you for responding to my comment!

My family has many items of clothing made of bamboo from the Spun Bamboo line that have been washed over and over and over. They are holding up great.
