Excellent neighborhood grocery
Bi-Rite has everything and crams it into the tiniest store you can imagine, just next door to Delfina Restaurant. There's fresh produce, albeit a limited selection, a deli counter, packaged goods and fresh bread. The bread is delivered fresh from local bakeries -- it's right inside the door. This grocery store is a "don't miss" if you're planning to head to Dolores Park for a picnic -- just hop off BART at 16th St, zig zag your way through the neighborhood past Community Thrift if you like, and fill your picnic basket with goodies from Bi-Rite.
