Comments on Abendigo's review of Brown Rice Chips
nori crisps, mmm-mmm good
These light crisps are made from nori and brown rice. And you can really taste the seaweed! One of my coworkers brought them around -- he'd spent like $3.50 on 1.7oz. Go figure! But I know where he picked them up, Valencia Whole Foods, which is ridiculously pricey, more so than any health food store I've been in all of the Bay Area! And for those of you not local to San Francisco, it's not actually a Whole Foods store but a natural food store that practically has the same name. It's actually more expensive than Whole Foods! Anyway, these are wheat-free and super tasty. They're natural and contain no preservatives or chemicals. I guess they're flash fried in oleic rice bran oil after they've been dried. They're a product of Japan but made at the Eden Foods factory in Michigan. Very tasty and light and not too salty.
