great sustainable lodging find in truckee
This past weekend, I got stuck in the Reno / Tahoe area for an unexpected extended vacation due to snow storms and road closures. Luckily, this gave us the opportunity to stay at this beautiful sustainably designed hotel in Truckee. Everything about this place was thoughtful - from the organic hot chocolate that was handed to me as we walked in from through their front door, to the european styled natural and 100% cotton bedding to their conscious effort to incorporate energy and water-saving features and measures. If I could afford to I'd stay here every time I came to Tahoe.
