I must have about 15 nylon mesh and canvas grocery totes. The canvas totes multiply as quickly as free t-shirts these days, and they are given away at tech conferences and green conferences. The canvas bags bear the names of websites, magazines and software on them. I think I even got a little one with the name of some bank in Alameda a year or so ago. I have so many that I leave a pile in the trunk of my car for groceries, and still have a pile in the closet that I rotate out for other uses.
I'm reluctant to accept any more canvas bags but when I first saw these Chico bags - I was impressed. I own two now, and they are very convenient to stuff in my pocket for unexpected bag needs. They are a bit smaller than some of my canvas grocery totes (which shrink like the dickens if you have to wash them) but much lighter and more compact.
