When I made this mix, I used oil and eggs exactly as suggested on the box. The only thing tricky was trying to determine when it was done, it's a very dense, sticky mixture that I didn't want to overbake.
Now for the important question - how did it taste? When you consider that I served it to people who had no idea they were eating something that was gluten free, it got reasonably high marks. No one called it a bad cake, neither did anyone rave about it. "On the sweet side" was one remark, along with a few comments about a different texture, but mostly people noticed really good chocolate.
I'll probably try other gluten free cake mixes, but I might end up back at Namaste.
