Comments on Paul's review of Civic Hybrid
Best emissions of a gasoline car sold in the US
That's right, this AT-PZEV has better emissions than any other gasoline car sold in the US.
It's also fun to drive, can achieve great mileage and it looks great, too.
I have a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid (HCH) without navigation. It is the second generation of the HCH, which began in model year 2003. I have averaged 58 MPG over four tanks of gas since I got the car. I can go between 600 and 660 miles on an 11 gallon fill-up. I drive for mileage, but don't consider myself a 'hypermiler.' I use a light foot on the gas and maximize the time and distance while I'm driving that it isn't burning any fuel.
There are only 5 differences visible on the outside of the car from the regular Civic. They are the hybrid decal, the trunk lip spoiler, the special alloy wheels, the AM radio antenna on the roof and the blinkers on the side mirrors.
It is a very safe car with advanced air bags and ABS standard.
I highly recommend the HCH if you drive more than 15,000 miles per year.
