I love clif bars, don't get me wrong, but they are pretty thick and sweet. Not as board-like as powerbars, and not as chemical flavored. These are good for when you are running between things and don't have time for a real meal. That might sound sad, but at least it's an option. :) Good for hikes as well. ALmost as good as fruit and trail mix.
