A Viable Subsitute for Coffee
Teeccinno is probabaly the best herbal coffee that I have had, which actually tastes close to coffee. I personally find the Java flavor closest resembling coffee. In the beginning I had trouble finding the right proportions of sugar, milk and "coffee" blend for it taste like a full bodied coffee. For me looks were deceiving since I have preferred my coffee light and sweet - however light and sweet - takes on a whole new
meaning in an herbal coffee - its more like sugar water.
So my proportions - 1T coffee, 1/2 tsp. sugar (much less than the 2 tsp I used to take, and 1/8 cup whole milk (don't let the color fool you).
Teeccino has come out with an Organic version of their herbal coffee as well, which are just as delicious, once you find the right mix.
My second favorite - Chocolate Mint - as a dessert drink. I give it 4 stars instead of 5, because it does take a little bit of work to find that perfect blend.
