I found the coolest skirt at the Chicago Green Festival this year. During one my breaks (we were working at the show), I walked over to the clothing and fashion section of the showroom and noticed a bunch of great eco-friendly options. What drew me to Texture was the natural, simple and yet elegant simplicity look of their skirts, pants and blouses. The skirt I picked is a nice brown earth tone and the fabric is very "comfy." It has a convenient little pocket sewn into the front. I paid $68 for it which is kind of a lot, but it's worth it to me as I love it and wear it all the time and know that it's made locally - in Seattle, and sustainably - from organic cotton, organic hemp and a little lycra (is lycra sustainable material?)
