Diapers
Description: Eco and health conscious diaper alternative.
gDiapers: Better than disposables!
I found gDiapers on the bottom shelf of my local Whole Foods, and promptly sat down in the middle of the aisle to check it out. We had been looking for something alternative to disposables, since we found out that there was no landfill space left in Illinois and that our trash was being hauled all the way to Wisconsin! Anyway, these are great - we use them along with cloth diapers (which fit nicely in the inserts) - and when we are out and about, they work just as well as regular disposables. The best part is that you can flush them! And, even if you are a little squeamish at first, you can put them in the trash with no guilt. As there is no plastic in them at all, they will biodegrade!
Having a baby is messy, but the responsibility is amazing - I am glad that I found these because now I fell as though, even when I'm doing the messy stuff, I am helping to make the world a cleaner place
