Local + organic smoothies!
It's such a great treat when you can walk to a local, organic place such as Doc's. It's on Armitage, between Damen and Western, and features all organic smoothies and other treats. They must have just opened, because their website isn't yet updated. But the smoothie options are endless and the 'yellow' version I had was great. I also tried some of the gluten-free Bot Bakery's cookies which were also very good. They have a cooler with organic wraps and other deli items from a nearby Indiana place, sorry the name escapes me. I'm sure this spot will do well in the summer and hopefully survive the winter with soup options. However, summer or winter, I'm always in the mood for an organic smoothie!
