Description: DreamHost is owned by its employees. We're a tight-knit family and we're not looking to sell out to investors or media conglomerates or other gigantic companies who care more about the bottom line than providing solid web hosting.

A pleasant suprise
Dreamhost is known around the internet for their superior service and good price plans. I finally signed up for an account and I was pleased to see that DreamHost is "carbon neutral" (they buy clean energy credits for all the power they use). Members are encouraged to place a "green hosting" badge on their site.
