Two pairs and counting, sustainable Ecco
I've got two pairs of Ecco's, a brown leather pair for dressiness, and a red tennis shoe pair for sportiness. And I aim to get more. These are some of the best, most comfortable shoes I've ever had, and what's sustainable about them is that they last forever. I've already had both of mine going on two years, I wear them ALL THE TIME, and they're barely even giving signs except wisdom that comes with age. Not only are they comfy, they're beautiful looking, really top-notch design. I guess they're also designed to absorb shocks, which I think is true. And they give your feet exquisite breathability. The company is 40 years old and Danish. It's amazing how my shoes sculpt to my feet over time, so now I feel like they were made just for me.
