Comments on Abendigo's review of Enteric Coated Fish Oil
getting my fish oil fix of omega-3 fatty acids
I recently learned there's a perfect correlation between depression and those who don't get enough Omega-3, which predominates in fish. Interestingly, nations that eat the most fish, like Japan, have the lowest rates of depression, and nations that east the least amount of fish, like New Zealand, have the highest rates of depression.
Also, they've begun using fish oil in children's supplements, and every month now, several studies come out from the likes of the AMA showing that kids' who get good doses of fish oil after they're done feeding on their mother's breast milk (which is also rich in omega-3s) are brighter, have higher IQs, and perform better in school.
Also, if you're worried about getting mercury from fish oil, make sure you get the high-grade fish oil capsules, which contain no mercury or other toxins.
I feel better using fish oil. And don't worry, there's no after taste -- at least not with these Puritan's Pride capsules.
