Pricey and not functional
The bags are ultra thin and silky to touch, however, they're far too porous to place in a kitchen trash bin. My roommate was so sick of the smell we had to place the bin outside and when we emptied the bags they often ripped and cumbersome to take down a flight of stairs. I'm not sure if it is realistic to say it can contain that much waste, but willing to try other options.

Terry W. says:
Biobags made of cornstarch are designed to break down and so can not be used like petroleum based plastic bags. They need air around them to keep them dry and intact. Otherwise they act like a tent when it rains! The water/liquid on the outside comes in and starts the melting process. If you use them to collect food scraps, I find they work best with a basket-type frame that allows air to circulate around them rather than a solid sided container. And then of course, get them out to the compost bin before they start composting! :)
