We've had the Garden Gourmet compost bin for over 7 years and it's still going strong. I may move it this year to a sunnier spot. In MN, the long winters mean that nothing much happens for a long time. Still for two people it has worked well for us. If more people composted, we extend the life of our landfills significantly.

can you add worms to this kind of composter, and can they move between levels? I know they can't stay out in the winter outdoors in the northeast or the worms will be lost.
