Description: Crystallized Ginger in 65% Dark Chocolate.
Made with 65% cocoa that's melded into a dark chocolate bar loaded with Australian crystallized ginger, these hot-spicy bars make for a great snack. Chocolove is a Boulder, CO-based comapny. It's funny, the wrapper has a love letter inscribed on it.

Hey Ben - QA flagged this as "not organic" though other products are - your thoughts about why it "fits" (other than yummy!)
Abendigo R. says:
Yeah, thats' a good question, Jenn. I know you can get these bars in Whole Foods and Wild Oats across the country, and they have fairly stringent standards -- no colorings, artificial flavors, et cetera. These bars are made with all-natural ingredients, but they are NOT ORGANIC. However, I did a bit of digging up and was inspired by the humanitairian founder, Timothy Moley, who created his company in Boulder in 2004:
"It all began in a cocoa field in Indonesia⦠Timothy was chewing on some cocoa beans doing volunteer work for USAID, a government program that promotes agricultural and technical education in developing countries. He had been living abroad on and off for two years, visiting over 28 countries, developing his palate with spices, teas and wines. And, like most of us, he had always dreamed of being his own boss, dedicated to something he loved."
Thanks, Jenn, you actually made me do some reconsidering, and I'll lower my rating to 4 stars.
