Zingy, Spicy Ginger Tea
I confess - I'm a bit lazy when it comes to ginger tea. I know I can get the same thing by grating a tablespoon or two of fresh ginger into some hot water and steeping it but... this is much more convenient when I'm at work and doesn't require a strainer. Numi makes very good teas -- they are committed to sustainable, organic products and they have a really gorgeous website that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Back to the benefits of ginger -- the primary benefit is that it soothes your stomach - some studies even show that it works better than motion sickness pills like Dramamine. It's also helpful in breaking up blood clots (like aspirin) and reducing cholesterol.
