Close to the Ultimate Pizza

Gioia serves the only pizza I've encountered on the west coast that made me think of Di Fara's in Brooklyn. It really is that good.

The crust is thin, crisp/chewy, and has real flavor, you could eat this crust naked. Toppings are all excellent, I love the mushroom, but I've never had anything that wasn't great.

Prices are as high as the pizza is good, bring a fat wallet, but don't miss this place. Worth a detour, at least.
