suprising selection of natural, organic, non-toxic options

Great little corner store in the lower Haight. I walked in not even realizing the sign outside saying "Haight & Filmore Whole Foods." It looks like a regular corner convenience store, but that it wasn't. After I walked in, I saw signs, "Organic wine!" "Organic corn," "Burt's Bee's Lotion," "Planet Laundry Detergent," "Newman's Own Organic Pet Food," and "Izzes!" (my new favorite natural soda drink). I loved that this unassuming corner store was filled with organic, healthy, sustainable options. They had pretty much everything you need from personal care products, to groceries, to drinks, to frozen meals, to cleaning products - all non-toxic, organic and many local options too!
