Recycling our local fallen, hardwood trees

Lost your beloved elm tree to lightning? Now you can have it saved, and transformed into a fireplace mantle, or dining room table, or almost anything you can imagine. Horigan will coordinate with your tree removal service and put you in contact with local craftspeople. They can mill high quality lumber in their saw mill and or you can select boards in their warehouse. Some boards even come with a pedigree, so you will know the history and location of the former tree. Since 1990 trees have been banned from Illinois landfills, and turned into mulch or firewood. Now these valuable hardwoods can be saved from that fate and reused as a beautiful countertop or decorative bowl.
