The creator of In-Liven says that death begins in the colon. Even if you don't understand the science of Lactobacillus (the friendly bacteria found in In-Liven), common sense says that you don't want food festering in your colon for days, even weeks (allowing the "unfriendly" bacteria to multiply and take over your body). So, to get to the bottom line, In-Liven (along with good nutrition-can't leave that out :) helps me have a normal, healthy bowel movement every single day. Trust me, I would be really grumpy without it. I have tried other probiotics in the past, and In-Liven far outperforms all of them. It is not in a capsule form, so it goes straight to the parts of your body that it needs to go the minute you drink it.
