If you look up the ingredients of your hair color, you will be shocked at the list of toxic chemicals, and some research supports the claim that it can cause leukemia. Our largest organ is our skin, which can absorb everything that touches it. Light Mountain uses no PPDs, no ammonia, no peroxide, no chemicals whatsoever. It also is the only hair dye with an FDA monograph for safe and effective use as a natural hair color. I've used this once and don't let the green paste fool you, it's henna and will give your hair that beautiful henna-based color. It takes some getting used to, as the paste is very thick and sandy in texture. But it worked for me and I'm glad my hair dye is chemical-free.
