Pie! Oh, Pie!

I first heard about this place on an SFGate article. It's a really cool idea. It was started, I believe, by the people at Pie Ranch, near Ano Nuevo. They call it "urban renewal," and they employ Mission High School students. Though, it doesn't stop there. They bring the students down to the farm so they can see the evolution of the food system they're apart of, from the germination of the seedling to the moment you stick a forkful of apple, walnut, or sweet potato pie. I've got my money on the sweet potato pie...
