Great Idea

I really do think this is a great idea - i like companies that are finding innovative ways to do good in the world. That being said, I don't really think this is a product that we "needed" right now. Unlike something like Better World Club vs AAA, phone companies aren't really that bad (well, you can say they are bad for giving away private info to the US government, but that is kind of a different story).

overall - i think it is cool, but i am in no huge rush to switch over from AT&T

I think that phone companies that give away our information is very, very bad. It's a basic agreement that we have made with them, to protect our privacy and our conversations, that they have given away thus far without recourse. The downside about switching to Credo is that as I understand it you have to change your phone number. True?

I do not know about the phone number - I don't actually have Credo - I just reviewed it based on my knowledge. However, according to Shayne, they will negotiate getting your phone number from other companies.

I definitely agree with you that the major US companies giving out our phone records is messed up, and that alone is a reason to switch to Credo - it's just not related to the "advertised" reasons i guess is what I am saying.

Jay G - no you do not have to change your phone number when you change mobile carriers. Just let us know that you want to bring your existing number to us. Eileen, VP, Customer Relations, CREDO
