Most flea repellents seem toxic so I tried this all-natural type. Upon initial application it seemed to work but after less than 48 hours fleas were appearing on the dog. I tried it multiple times with the same results.
I have a dog (for now) that is in teetering between life and death because of Sergeant's Nature's Guardian. She was recently diagnosed with Addison's Disease, which affects the adrenal glands. After bringing her home from the vet, I decided to try this product. Within 24 hours of using it, Diva was losing all control of her nervous system and started having seizures. The vet says it is because of the essential oils in this product, which could potentially affect ANY dog, not just one with Addison's Disease. I am now facing a $300+ vet bill which I'm sure that Sergeant's will try to weasel out of paying, even though they don't acknowledge the dangers of their product on a dog's nervous system on their package. If ANY of you who read this review truly love your dog(s), PLEASE don't buy this product! It's not worth potentially killing your pet in order to save a few dollars!
