The New American Dream is all about acquisition, the acquisition of "more time, more nature, more fairness, and more fun" while seriously advocating for social justice, environmental protection and conscientious consumerism. As someone mentioned to me the other day, we vote with our dollars. As we use online green consumer marketplaces and alternative gift registries , such as New American Dream, we are sending messages, of our consumer preferences, upstream to the manufacturers of STUFF. The site provides opportunities and tools to make a difference.
