Description: Brewery offering organic beer.
The toasty, minerally flavor of this beer (though, let it be known, they have an assortment of other much better kinds, like Skinny Deep) is best on tap. I've heard their beer is not as good as it once was, way back when they were just a small brewery, before their distribution went multi-platinum and they became one of the biggest craft brewers in America. I certainly wouldn't describe it as a hoppy Belgian ale, the way many do. Regardless, it's still fine beer, and of course the fact that sustainability plays such a big part in their facilities and production in Fort Collins, CO, speaks well about the company. They were the first wind-powered brewery in the nation, and their facilities have full LEED certification. I'm actually sipping one right now, and now that my bottle's half-empty, I'll give it four stars.
