More than just an Outdoor Shoe for the Hybrid Life!
Everyday I face the challenge of walking...most people that know me aren't aware of my disability. For me, living an active life with the ability to explore the great outdoors in style and comfort is not my kind of hybrid lifestyle. Mine life challenge is wearing many hats as a B&B proprietor, but wearing only one brand of shoe: KEEN. This all came about, because I injured a sciatic nerve. And, about the same time, was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. Because of this unfortunate turn of events, I gave away my entire collection of footwear, my eclectic mix of shoes - dress boots and cowboy boots, designer heels, both high and low, and crazy, chunky sandals. The good news, is that I found KEENS. They have a terrific variety to select from. I have acquired not only Newport H2's, but an assortment of other sandal-type footwear, tennis shoes, and walking shoes. I've become the "Keen Queen"! Since then, I have recommended Keens to many others that live with a similar disability.
