good for the curly haired

I stopped buying mousse from the drug store when I realized that the stuff was pretty toxic. I was pleased to find this at Aveda - it has a finger pump to get the foam out of the bottle (no jet propulsion) and it smells really good. It also doesn't make my hair crusty or crunchy, which is good, as the 90s perm isn't really what I go for when I let the curly mane go it's natural way.

The ingredients list says it has benzyl benzoate in it. This one scares me a little - is it a type of benzene? Benzene's scary... must do some more research, unless someone else knows?
