This rain is your rain, this rain is my rain...
I got to agree with Bri - full disclosure, i just joined sustainlane today and I know Bri from PennyHarvest and was on her 'you-must-subscribe invite - because I went to the site for them and the link on 'how to do it' was pretty good in terms of water consumption per capita, yada yada. If I didn't have an apartment I would buy from them. Maybe not the rain barrel but the cut-off looks pretty good. They call it a diverter on their site but actually the real word for it in the trade is 'cut-off ' because you are cutting-off flow, but I can see how that could be confusing. I think they should do the stand in cedar instead of pressure treated wood or they should say what the wood has been treated with.
Anyway, I thought it was pretty good. I would vote for them. I think someone should say SOMETHING about the water, though. Is rain water going to become potable or what? I mean, doesn't it make sense to do that?
