Rainbow rules but not all of the time
I get burned out on Rainbow if it's the only place I shop, so I mix it up a lot -- Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Bi-Rite, other local shops. And I love Rainbow all the more for it, because every time I come back to her, I appreciate her for all of the things that she does best -- bulk wonders, fruit and vegetables (excepting my CSA and the farmers market), more esoteric options, cheese, coffee, vitamins. And there's certainly an art to shopping right at Rainbow that I'm only still working at perfecting. Sometimes the whole experience can be a bit extreme for my tastes, and that's why I parse it out. I'm also an avid meat-eater so I have to get my meat elsewhere, since Rainbow is vegetarian. However, I don't eat meat all the time, so Rainbow truly balances me out. Rainbow rules but not all the time.
