Well-intentioned, but not ready for prime time
On the plus side, Ramblin Wood is an American company. On the minus side, their California King platform bed is not ready for prime time. It is shaky and rattly. Their twin bed might be okay. Their customer service seems well-intentioned, but many of their products need further design work and testing. The products are affordable, but the quality is not there yet.

I just assembled a full-size Taos Sleigh Bed and it's probably one of the sturdiest bed frames I've ever seen so I have no idea what the issue was with the King platform bed, maybe this guy didn't tap all the pieces together. Too bad, since my 2-year could do it. The wood was beautiful (solid wood) and the hand-rubbed linseed oil finish was perfect. Highly recommend these bed frames.

The Taos Sleigh Bed seems to be a lot sturdier than the platform beds. Maybe that's the way to go.

I don't think they make anything other than platform beds, but I could be wrong. If you had problems with a king size bed that you got from them you should give them a call, the customer service seems really good. I even got to talk to a human being when I called them about a shipping question, rather than getting stuck in a phone tree with a large corporation.
