Great organic chocolate is rare. Don't miss it.

The best chocolate in the world comes from the Sambirano river valley in Madagascar, This bar exudes hints of the nuts, herbs, fruits, and spices of the plantations on which its' cocoa trees live, on your palate with a long finish. This is the hallmark of single-origin in a world of blends. The texture is unusually smooth, which must be the product of many hours couching. Should go great with a glass of Pinot Noir. Dagoba may well be the only chocolate maker to create an organic bar from this region. I usually avoid organic chocolate because it's rarely very good, and not single origin (lacking distinctiveness).
