Impressive Selection, Should Be More Organic
I've enjoyed Savoure Teas for the past several years. At first blush, Cindi's tea selection is impressive, but her inventory of organics is limited. I used to meet up with friends for high tea at her Tea Salon on West Broadway in Eugene. I also hosted our daughter's bridal shower there. Sad to see it go, but the Savoure Salon closed. Cindi reopened Savoure as a retail shop on Willamette Street with the bulk of tea sales continuing to generate from her successful online business.
Talking to Chloe, Cindi's daughter, by phone today, about ordering more tea for our B&B, I found my organic tea selection more limited than I realized. I picked organics: Rooibos Tea (Regular), Earl Grey Darjeeling (I love the scent of bergamot!) "Grand Orchard" fruit tea: a blend of apple, pear, banana, peach, apricot, pineapple and passion fruit.
When ordering: 2 oz. = 25 cups...16 oz. = 200 cups of tea. When brewing: black, green and herbal = 1 tsp/cup; Oolong and white = 2 tsp/cup; pearls = 8/cup
