I loved giving my grandson, Max, alias "Little Mister" and "Big Guy" this sippy cup. He's two, and until now, loved his daily bottle feedings of cereal mixed with juices and yogurt. His first response, was to sip and spit the plain water out...but he got used to drinking from his sippy fairly quick. "Spitting it out", reminds me to remind you to tell who ever you buy a stainless Klean Kanteen for that it's important to wash a couple of times throughly on the inside with warm soapy water to remove a residual funky taste from the manufacturing of the product.
