I really wanted to like this place because they use only compostables and their menu changes every day so the ingredients are seasonal and from small farms. And they have nice staff. BIG PLUS. A BIG CRY FOR 5 STARS.
But #1: The bin for composting doesn't look like a compost can, it looks like a trash can. If that's in an attempt to make it so that the trash SHOULD be compost, cool and I agree. But what if someone walks in there with a plastic bag and throws it in there because they don't know better? Does it defeat the purpose?
But #2: Nobody told me there would be coconut on top of a tres leches cupcake! Ew. The bean salad was just a huge pile of green beans, why not throw in some more variety? Read: the food's not quite there yet.
I hope I can amend my review in the future.
