Comments on Netty's review of Syrah 2006
Balanced Syrah, but I've had better
Of the Frey wines I've tried, this Syrah was the best. The wine had a deep almost purple color. The label says there are flavors of plum and black cherry. I was definitely able to taste the black cherry. The wine was heavy on the tongue, and smooth going down. Syrah is a hit or miss wine for me, and this hit, but not with a baseball bat, maybe just a twig. I would recomend this wine, but I also it's possible to find a better inexpensive organic wine for $13.
