Simple Shoes does it again
I got my first pair of eco-friendly Simple Shoes directly from the company. A coworker got them to give us a pair to wear at Green Festival. I loved them because they not only looked cool and natural, but they were very comfortable and made from bamboo, juut and other sustainable materials by a company that seems to really care about the way they do business and their environmental footprint.
Anyway, I recently found these pair of sandals on sale at Sports Basement (a San Francisco-based discount sporting goods store) and I was thrilled! I wore them for all day today - walked 30 minutes to and from work, up and down hills and they felt great. They have 100% post consumer paper pulp foot forms and are made with mostly sustainable materials. I think they look good with both jeans and skirts. Way to go Simple Shoes! Keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to their next models.
